Binding the Google Authenticator can significantly enhance the security of your account. You can follow this tutorial to set it up.
For iOS users, you can download the Google Authenticator app from the App Store, and for Android users, it's available on the Google Play Store or your app store.
How to bind the Google Authenticator on the Bixin official website:
1. Visit the Bixin official website at https://www.bixin.com/. Log in to your Bixin account and click on "Portrait icon" at the right upper corner, then select "Account Security", followed by "Google Authy," and click "Bind." You will be prompted to enter your payment password.
2.After entering your payment password, you will see the following screen. You can choose to manually enter the key or copy it to the Google Authenticator.
Note: Please ensure that you keep your key secure, as it's the only way to recover your GA authentication. Do not disclose your key to anyone.
3.Open the Google Authenticator app and click the "+" in the bottom right corner. Select "Enter a setup key," provide an"Account name ," enter "your key ,"select "Time-based" as the key type, and click "Add."
Account Name: You can customize this to distinguish it from other accounts, such as the platform's name.
Time-based key: Google codes are generated based on time. If your device's time is not synchronized with Google's servers, you might receive incorrect codes. You can resolve this by setting your device's time to synchronize automatically.
4.After clicking "Add," the app will display a 6-digit verification code.
5.Return to the Bixin official website, as shown in the image below, and click "Next."
6.Enter the 6-digit code generated by the Google Authenticator and click "Complete." You will receive a notification of successful binding. You can return to the "Account Security" page to check if the binding was successful, which should display "Bound." This indicates that your Google Authenticator is successfully set up.
